Mounting the Axle

Im ready to mount my D44 for the SAS. What steps should i take to make sure the axle is mounted perfectly? I havent figured out the exact placement on the new radius arm brackets. Any advice will help.
96 f-150 w/ 78 front end

I am in the process of doing the same thing. the way I did it was measuring from the rear end to the front on each side to make sure it was even. Just be patient and check everything twice. Then re check everything twice. I don't know if it's important or not but I had jackstands holding my frame up at the height the truck will be while I made my measurements. find a common point, the same distance from end on each side, like the rear axle. meaure up, and mark, measure, tack, measure measure measure, weld. get a good alignment afterwards.
