I just bought a 2000 Limited. It has almost every bell and whistle in it but the passenger seat is not power. I found that to be odd especially considering that it is heated. It's not a big deal, I just found it to be odd. Are they all like that or did I get a freak?
I can certainly live with it too. An XLS has all the goodies I want but this came down the pike for the right price and I couldn't pass it up. I just thought with all the other bells and whistles, and the fact that it is a Limited, both front seats would be power. Oh well! No big deal!
no 2000 came with passenger power seat was never an option on 2000 model
Exactly, it wasn't an option until the 2002 model year. In fact it wasn't an option in 2002, it was a standard feature if you got either of the "Limited" trims or the XLT with the "Confort and Convenience" package.

Mine is a 2000 Limited and i don't have the passanger power seat also. I'm looking at a 2000 Excursion brochure Comfort & Convenince Group didn't included the power passanger seat. Just the driver seat. But I have notice 2 buddy's of mine have power passanger seat on there 2000 Excursion Limited models.

Exactly, take it from someone who did some serious reading, research, and looking on the Excursion. I continued to read and watch after I bought one and the 2002 model year was the first year for the power passenger seats.
Sorry for digging up an old thread (search function) but does anyone happen to know if there is a wiring harness for a power passenger seat in an 01 excursion limited??? Just got an ex for the boss but as explained above power pass. seat wasnt an option till 02. Just wondering if anyone has put a power 02+ seat in an older ex. Im assuming the wiring harness is not there.

My 2000 Limited also has just heat on the passenger side...only the driver is heated and power.

You have good reason to bring up an almost 6 year old thread, but when I first saw the date, I was about to post one of my old thread pictures!

My 2000 x is the same. No power passenger seat. AND the seat heater does not work on the drivers seat!!'. Works well on passenger seat!
