has anyone installed dynatrac's free spin kit? Do you remember if there was only 1 seal between the axle shaft and new spindle. how did you attach the new spindle, the directions say that there are studs to attach it to, but the studs are attached to the old hub/ unit bearing assembly. And last did your kit come with a small allen bolts with serrated washers. my kit didnt come with any allen bolts, or studs besides the 16 for the wheels.
in the instructions is says their is a slinger, dust boot, thrust washer and spindle seal between the out shaft and fixed spindle. the kit only came with 2 seals for each side? so much for getting it done this week end.

Don't you just need one per side? seal that is and one boot per side.

that is what i was thinking, but the instructions even have a diagram showing 4 sperate parts per side??
1 seal for the spindle and 1 for the hub. this sucks, they arnt open until 8 monday, PST, so i will have to wait until 11 here to call them.
this kit is very easy to install, i am not sure what you are asking but my kit went together well
in your kit was there just 4 seals total and thats it, or was there a slinger, dust boot, thrust washer. the instructions say that all 3 of these are suppose to mount on the spindle, but i dont have those parts.
it also says the spindle mounts to the knuckle with studs in the knuckle. but there are no extra studs or stover lock nuts with the kit.
do you remeber what all came with your kit. mine came with the spindles, hubs, bearings, spanner nuts, studs for the wheels, and 4 seals, and the axle shafts. thats it.
the picture is missing the studs that get pressed into the new hubs, the spanner nuts and locking washer, and a bag of spacers for the brake caliper. the round piece below the hub with 4 holes in it, i have no idea what that is for.
they make this kit for dodges and fords so the pic might be janeric. (sp)
i forgot my dang camera so no pics.
if anyone needs the directions i have them and can e mail, so if you are wondering what all is involved, just send me a PM with your e mail adress.
