Gas Tank
Does anyone know where I can find a new side mount tank for my 78 F-150 Supercab short box? I've checked LMC and JCWhitney and they don't have one. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Are you sure JCWhitney doesn't have it? Their catalog seems to show just about any P/U gas tank.
Hmmm, by side-mount, do you mean the "front" tank that is between the frame rail and driveshaft? Or do you mean a Chevy style side-saddle tank outside the frame rails? I don't think Ford ever used the latter - if your truck has a tank like that, it's probably aftermarket.
Someplace else to try is www.auto-gastanks.com, though they seem to have exactly the same choices as JCWhitney (but for less $).
