89 BII oil level sensor

The oil level sensor on my 89 is leaking internally through the wire & not the gasket. I have tried silicone seal where the wire exit but no luck. What other Ford vehicles have the same one. I may have to get a used one if I can't find a new one. None of the online Ford sites list one.Any ideas?

You can get an AC Delco or a GP from Advance Auto for $6. Don't go to the dealer and get rapped on such a common part.

My 87 2.9 also has the oil level sensor plugged into the drivers side of the oil pan.

Oil pressure senders can be found at any parts store, but the oil level sensor is probably dealer only.

The one I have leaking is the sensor on the side of the pan.
