Anyone have any experance with these parts (rotors).I have a pulsation and cant get rid of it using stock rotors. It goes away for a little while then comes back,so im looking for something better.
I am looking for someone that has these, that can tell me if there good or not.Cause they are a pretty penny to buy.
I would also like to hear what people have to say. I've read some threads in the past but I'm always up for more. It would be nice to hear from someone with 40k+ miles on these puppies.
My truck is doing ok so far, just a mild vibration under light braking.. but this isn't my first big Ford so I know I'll need rotors soon. (24k miles now).
My last vehicle was an E350.. It went through rotors like water at first, cause I drove it hard. I eventually learned to brake way early and be as gentle as I could. It made a noticeable difference in how long the brakes lasted. I also have a '78 suburban with 36" tires and it's rotors are perfect. The brake issue is my ONLY complaint with my F250.
50,000mi and going strong! I have had these for a long time and I absolutly love them. The pads still have plenty of life left on them after 50K and the rotors are still true and show no signs of warping. I lived in the mountians of AZ, so these brakes were definatly used.
No complaints whatsoever! I recommend them to everyone who need brakes!

Art rotors are one of the best!.
But when doing your brakes, you need to inspect the caliper glide/slide pins.
They get worn and bind holding the brake pad against the rotor. They should be cleaned and greased.
The caliper itself can get the pistons skewed also.
Also over torquing the lugs will do it also.
Check out the Powerslot rotors and Hawk pads combination. So far the Cryo rotors have net been necessary for our customers and our own trucks, that's one of the main selling features of the ARTS rotors. You shouldn't need them unless you plan to really really be super hard on your brakes. If so the Powerslot Co. has a frozen rotors as well at approx 45.00 more per rotor.
We have had great success with the standard Powerslot/Hawk combo to eliminate the shake rattle and roll of the stock rotor design. Be sure to replace the caliper slide pins no matter what you buy. Call us of you have any questions on the Powerslot/Hawk parts.
