Aftermarket Intake

I just installed an aftermarket intake on my 01 F-150 and have noticed that after shutting off the truck the is a pshhh noise that sounds as if air is being released...does anyone know what this might be?

Maybe you installed a nitrous purge by accident? Just kidding. That is just the nature of the beast with aftermarket intakes. Just tell your friends it is the nitrous purge though!!

Yea...its just the air passing throught the aftermarket filter element. My fourwheeler does it too when I put the K&N on.
