BigBlue88 - About 1/2 way between GMU & the Braddock Rd exit on 495. Just down from where Rolling and Braddock meet.

Franken-Truck - Thanks for the reply. Yea, that is a bit far to go.

Thanks guys. I think both of you are only 15min from where I live. I really appreciate the offers. It would be great if someone had a hoist, but if you are willing, I would love the help. I may just end up buying the hoist if no one has it, next payday or so since funds are tight right now (holiday bills and all ). If either of you are still willing to help, the offer will stand. And yes, it would be on a weekend.

You have a pepboys up there? The carry the BigTorin Red cherry pickers for like $150. I bought a 1 ton, but wish I got a 2 ton for the truck I'll be getting the 2 ton come summer but anyways, rambling again. . . There fairly cheap at PB compared to say northern tools. . .and if you have a SunBelt or Taylors rentals up there they aint to bad when it comes to rental price

Hey guys. The poor Ranger is still in the same condition. Lots of things have gotten in the way in the last couple weeks.

Anyway, if I buy a lift, and have it for next weekend, are either of you available next weekend? (BigBlue88, liftmy250)

Yeah, I'm good next weekend, and glad to help.

You got $50 and a good tree branch? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...Itemnumber=996 and a branch will do for a redneck pull. Harbor Freight has other hoists, too. They probably have an engine hoist.

That would be great if you could help out. I am not sure what the weather is going to do just yet, so I will have to keep an eye on it. Hopefully that masive snow we got is gone by then.

Anyway, if it is bad, I may have to put it off another week.

No, I don't have a tree for that kind of set up.

When it ended Sunday there was 12"+ on the ground. I still have 6" of snow on the hood of the truck that hasn't melted.

liftmy250 - Just let me know if you are down.

Still not sure about the weather. It looks like rain on Fri, and then some cold temps on Sat & Sun.
