Tilt Steering

I am looking to replace my fixed steering with a tilt from a '79 ford van to my '78 ford explorer pickup. Can anyone see a problem with that? Please answer soon. I'm holding up buying until I hear from someone.

Bob, You really need to get your measuring tape out for this one, but most parts from the van do not interchange with the pickup.

The 78-79 Lariats were the only trucks with tilt that will work that I know of. There are some car columns that will fit, you have to measure twice.

Tilt Steering

Absolutelay will not fit.

The van steering column is about 7 or so inches longer.

I do have a couple tilts though if interested.
