Anyone ever work with this stuff? I'm doing some fuel system mods and installing
high performance stainless steel braided fuel line. What's the best way to mount
the end connectors?
Thanks,
Nut
That's a great idea. Can the place you bought it from crimp the lines onto the fittings for you? Like a hydraulic fitting.
Got the line from Jeg's($35 for 10ft...u should see the specs!), The connectors
actually screw on. I think the outer nut is supposed to thread over the SS braid
but it isn't easy. The inner flow thru screw threads into the nut and makes an incredible seal. They use this line on all racing engines. I got the -6AN size(about 5/16"). The fittings will kill ya on the money factor...very expensive.
Actually , i got the black hose ends with blue adapters for the NPT fittings(1/8"). Figure they would match the black diesel fuel/grease globs...LOL!! Color coordination
is very important!
