Big cats like tigers, panthers, and other big cats. Since I can't have any of them I will just have to settle with my pet Raccoon

Gotta agree with you there. So many people hate hawks because they eat some of the same animals people like to eat (pheasant, quail, rabbits). I'll take the hawk over any of those three any day. The birds and the rabbits get up in the morning and lollygag and graze all day. There "work" is pretty easy.
