Here we go again. Check Engine - Stalling

OK.. Well, I Have posted this before, and have done many fixes but it doesn't seem to be working.

Truck: 92 Bronco XLT, 5.8 Auto. AC

Here are the symptons:
Low Idle.. Slowing down, or stopping. Engine wants to stall.

I can throttle, and bbring it back to life, but that only lasts for a short time. Once it idles down again, it wants to stall..

Check Engine light comes on periodically, will stay on for a while then go out.. Code reader comes back with a 122 code, which is a TPS low voltage.. (What does that mean)

The truck feels like it is starving for fuel when it does this.. My pump has been making humming noises for about 2 years.. Not really any louder from what I can tell, but definately a LOUD noise..

I figure I will swap out the fuel filter in the frame in the morning, and try that first.. I am wondering if this might be the fuel pump causing this..

Any suggestions, or information would be VERY much appreciated.

The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) requires a specific voltage to operate correctly. A common reading is the low voltage, and I would replace that TPS since your idle seems slow or may read under 1000 rpms on the tach. If you haven't done so, clean the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve or replace it. A noisy fuel pump is normal, but when it goes quiet you better change it out- quick!!! You can check the fuel pressure at the Schrader valve (looks like an air fitting on the intake). You may have a fuel problem with the fuel pump relay or pressure regulator. On the EFI motors, there are two fuel pumps. One inside the gas tank and the other on the driver's-side frame rail under the door.

I can buy that.. Now comes the dumb dumb question.. I am fine with engines that have carburators, points, etc.. I open this hood and spend more time wondering what in the flucking hell that hose goes too.. Is there a decent on-line reference for manuals that may indicate where these are, and how to replace them.. The Chiltons that I use is a ver broad spectum manual and leaves alot to be desired.

I take it the frame rail pump is the high pressure? I saw something about that in my manual as well..

The Shrader valve? Thats the one that is mounted essentially on top of the intake manifold on a hard line? Has a Tire pressure cap on it?

Sorry for being a dummy, but like I said.. I am a bit more old school...

JSM84.. Well, I think the TPS was right on the money.. I replaced it this afternoon, fired her up and it all seems to be gone..

Now, I must admit that in chasing the problem I also fixed some other needed issues. For example, The exhause was leaky, thought that might have screwed up the sensors, there were a few vacuum lines that were bad, replaced those... Each time I did something, it would run great for a few days, to a few minutes..

Anyway.. Thought I would share this with you all.. Thanks for your help...
