OK, heres the deal. I have always had older 77-79 fords I still have 2. But over the summer I bought a very nice low mileage 96 f350. Well I'm not to happy with the truck so I'm going to back to the old trucks. I'm not a 100% sure on what to build, I have a 79 with dana 60s front and rear and I have a big block to put in if I want. But I have never owned a older Bronco and have always liked them so I'm thinking about putting one of those together. Did the bigger Bronco's ever come with a 302? Will a 302 use the same motor mounts as a 351? Last question did a Bronco ever come with a divorced transfer case? My plans are to build a nice daily driver. I'm wanting to do a small block because I help out at a shop that does alot of late model performance stuff, and I have a twin turbo setup off of a old mustang that I had. Thanks for the info.
deisele75 is right for the 78 79 Bronco which I'm assuming is the one you want.
If you were also interested in the EBs 66-77, then some of those came with a 302 and if you were thinking of early 80s models, then again, some of those came with 302s.
NO Bronco has come with a Divorced transfere case(they're to short).
And the only 351 motor mounts that might work on a 302 are 351W mounts where were only in the 80s and up Broncos.
