i know this has beem beat to death, but i am not seeing what i want. Right now all i have is one cat and one hollow cat. The noise is starting to drive me crazy, so i am pondering exaust. I am thinking just a plain muffler and pipe from a local shop. either out the side infront of the rear tire, or run it like factory. My question will i notice a power diference or a performance difference? what about fuel mileage? enlighten me guys!!

I know my response has been beaten to death too, but just for kicks straight pipe it if you can. that is unless you want it quiet. form a performance and mileage standpoint you'll probly lose alittle of both when adding a muffler, because you're adding more restriction to the exhaust flow. really though if it can be done get rid of the cats
