Does anyone know of an after market manufacturer for 19.5 rims? What I'm looking for specifically is a company that would make or be able to make rims to fit the rear so that I can run singles instead of duallies. Right now I have the outer tires/rims taken off. The rear track width is 5" (2.5" per side) less than the front (76" vs 71"). I need rims that will make up the 2.5" per side. I have talked to the guys at Ricksons, they have exactly what I need but they are in the R&D stage still and won't be available for several months.
what about alcoa wheels. i had a dually and removed the inside wheel. looks alot better. you could also have your rim made wider and then put a single tire on.
The Rickson wheels for this application aren't available yet. Why would I want to run an 8x10 lug adaptor when my wheels are 8 and my hubs are 8?
How did you get 8 lugs when the stock F450 uses 10? Thats why I mentioned the adapter that other Manufacturers (not Rickson) sell to convert 8 lugx10 lug for this reason.
Didn't Four Wheeler magazine or someone else do a conversion that used alcoa's and the MTR's. I know it was a few years back but the idea was to not use such a wide track but still have the strength. I know ALCOA was used.
