No More Leak!!!

Well its back together and its not leaking!! Took about 3 hrs all together but its done and no more drips. I also gutted the ebv seeing as it was not working. I used the Ford o-rings and have had no probs so far so i'll keep my fingers crossed (they say that have been known to leak) If anyone is going to tackle this themselves there is a few things i will say. Make sure you have the exhaust clamps inplace befroe installing the turbo. I forgot the one at the back and what a pain to get it on after. And second when re-installing the intake put the orange boot on the heads than the intake into the boots. I tried the other way and there was no freakin way they would go on. By the way it was the ebv actuator arm that was leaking on my truck.Have a good one Lancer

i believe i saw a link on dieselsite or dieselinnovations where they had a EBPV actuator rod rebuild kit. wasn't too expensive.

congrats on the job well done. just remember to retorque those 10mm pedestal bolts and the 13mm turbo bolts down after a few cycles.

Glad you got your rig all fixxed up man! I had to spend almost $500 on my front-end for it to pass inspection - so my truck is sitting in the driveway for now. I'm gonna get a NON-ebpv pedestal, and a non-ebpv exhaust housing for my turbo, and do it up right the first time!!

Sorry to hear about the front end.I guess they all need a little tlc now and than. Just sucks when it all happens at once!! Hope you get your turbo all fixed up and that cures your oil leak. Make sure you have a 3/8 drive socket with a 5/16 12 point end on it. You'll need it to get the turbo apart. I had to use heat on mine to get the exhaust housing apart. Actually i see you have the wicked wheel on your truck so maybe you've had it all apart before. Any how good luck Lancer!!
