Does a 5spd. Man. trans. exist?
Hi, I am looking at buying a 1984 F-250 4x4 300-6 for decent price. It lists a 5 speed manual transmission. I have had 3 on the tree manuals before, and am aware of a 4 spd. manual, but did this era make a 5spd.? I have a 1993 5spd. Mazada MO5 currently, but was wondering if they were made earlier, or a different type/brand. Thanks, for help.

Hey thanks, must have been a typo. The truck looks original w/ 154,000 mi. and pretty sure that has not been altered. It must be the 4spd.manual then. I guess these trannys were decent as well, just dont get the overdrive. It is just a weekend fishing/camping truck anyhow.
