Heater core r/r
Need to replace the leaking heater core in my 71 Sport Custom, but there's an aftermarket under dash air conditioning system installed in the truck. How big of a job is it going to be to get the heater core out? Anything special I need to know before starting?

I'm assuming it works so you don't want to disconnect it. Most installed A/C's I've seen run the hoses to the drivers side then through the firewall. If so you should be able to swing the unit out of the way and then pull the heater box. You might pull the seat if you don't have enough room.
