Squeaking front end
I've had my 2001 f-150 for about 3 months now and recently the front end wont quit makin an annoying squeakig noise when i turn the wheel back and forth or if u stand on the bumper, that little bit of flex in the suspension it squeaks, so its really annoying drivin down main street with that constant squeaking, i've tried pumping grease into the ball joints and tie rod ends, and drove it for a few days and it;s still there, i've tried oiling up all the bushing i can find that it oculd possible be and still no luck...anyone had this happen or now what it could be or what i should do..thanx

This is an on going problem for my 1997 Ford. For me it's caused by dry bushings. Every couple of months I spray down all the bushings with Gunk's heavy duty silicon spray. Wait a few hours for it to soak into the bushings and no more noise.

It's either ball joints or sway bar bushings. Most likely ball joints. I had a Taurus, (RIP) that developed a squeaky ball joint, I was lucky and a grease needle through the boot cured it, but won't always work.

98 mustang and 2002 explorer we have both did it. the sway bar bushings at the main frame were problem. had to remove the bushing, paint wih anti sieze and reinstall. o.k. now for 2 years. tried the spray oil an dit would last 1 week.--- i had bad ball joints on the 2001 F150, but never had a squeeke in them. Dont have noise in the bushings on the 150 either.
