93 Exp Engine keeps dieing

What brand of O2's are you using. I had bought Eclin some 4 years ago. Had one go bad about 10K miles later. Napa guy says Echlin doesn't even make them any more - not sure if it's true.

Bosch. I'll get some miles on the car this week and will see how it does.

I must be cursed. Drove to church yesterday and back, about 8 miles and all was well. Decided to try to drive to work this morning, about 25 miles. Got within two blocks of work and car started acting as before. Slowed to a point where I had to pull to side of road. Engine would not accelerate, but would idle. I turned off ignition then restarted car, let it idle a few seconds then tried to build up rpm and came off clutch to get car moving. It worked and I was able to get to parking lot, I think it might have run ok that last leg.
Now I have no tools and am contemplating how to get home. Will likely leave at noon and see if I can nurse it back.
The pcm is under warranty, but I honestly don't have a clue what's going on.
I may try changing out the maf and tps.

Beginning to think it might be an internal issue. I just went and checked the radiator fluid level and it was down at the radiator. I've topped it up and will check it if/when I get home. This might have been what happened to the first set of o2s.

Perhap as I mentioned once, if the head gasket is leaking on one cylinder, the O2 could be reading lean and the PCM then richens up that side to turn the plugs black. Lots of miles on this truck. Cracked heads are not uncommon.
