To dual out your 4.9, you will need dual exhaust manifolds or headers. Manifolds are available from 1986 and up fuel injection engines, folks are selling these on e-bay pretty reasonable. I think Hedman has headers and probably others. Your 2 front pipes should come to a crossover pipe and back out to 2 cats and 2 mufflers and 2 tail pipes.

i have true duals, they are 2 inchers, its got walker super cats, it sounded like a diesel tractor, but i got some 24 inch by 3 inch tips, it toned it down but i liked the tractor sound better, with the tips it sounds more like a v8 until the 3000 range.
