NP203 disassembly question

NP203 disassembly question
I am tearing down my 203 to build a doubler and I am down to the lower gears on the front gear section. Are the lower gears press fitted into the case? How do I remove the lower two gears?

I wish I had my case here because I can't remember the details now but you shouldn't need to pull any gears to seperate the range box from the rest of the case. The output shaft from the range box to the chain box will slide right out and let you seperate the two halves.

I figured it out. I tapped the shaft out and the gears were able to come out. There is two shims in front and two in back with needle bearings around the shaft. I'll go and get those torque specs Ted and send you a PM.
