Yesterday my truck became hard to start. The motor is cranking slower then normal, so this evening I went to advance auto and had the alternater, batteries, and the starter checked and all check O.K.. The batteries read over 13 volts and the alternater was 14.6 volts. Batteries check 12 volts under a load. Any ideas why my truck is cranking so slow.
I'm living this very issue right now. My truck cranking speed has slowed over the past week. I had thought there was a slow battery drain. Today three cylinders and no more cranking. No amount of battery charging / boosting would get it to crank over after that.

I havent had time to change my starter yet, but today the crazy thing has done fine even with the tempertures dropping. I'm 99% sure its the starter though(since its been on the truck for almost 100K.
