ok i cant remember at the moment.....will a obs truck throw a cel and code for overboost? 25+ psi

i have heard that some '97s will defuel but ive never had mine defuel and its a 97 pcm.

mine does something when i hit 26 psi...not sure if its defueling or rev limiter.....too fast in 3rd gear to be paying attention to tach and everything else going on.

24 on NBS, I think 1tfox is right about 22 on the OBS.

My 96 defueled at 22 psi until I put a fooler valve in now I can excede 30 without really trying.

ok, thanks i had a buddy asking me and i couldnt remember if it would throw a cel. ive had some pcm reprogramming done on my truck, it will run to the revlimiter before it backs fuel down.
