Need Help
I just bought my brothers old truck.its a 79 4x4 with a 400 and c6.the c6 was suppose to use dexronIII trans fluid.but he used type f.right after he put the type f in he started having problems.so the he switched to the dexronIII.but it really didnt help it out any.so now the only gear it has is reverse.so is there any help or am i forced to replace or rebuild the tranny

Any of the Dextron ATF's will be fine.
