<o></o>Anyone have any ideas why my 69 f-250 won’t kill when I turn the key. I replaced the ignition switch thinking maybe that was it…but it drains all the power out of my battery too. When I stall it out to stop the engine, it still thinks keeps pulling power..???
Your engine is always pulling positive "+" power to the coil. Trace the wire which is pulling this power. It is probably shorted out or some one has tapped a hot wire to this wire.
The next time the truck keeps running with the ignition key turned off or removed, give the voltage regulator a wrap with a screwdriver handle.
Post your results as the contacts are sticking.
