Well, after a long time of searching I finally found a three quarter ton with a solid axle up front. I havent gotten it yet but the guy who I am buying it from said it had a divorced(???) transfer case on it. Said it had three drive shafts. Was just wondering if any of ya heard of it or have one and if they are any good. It's also got a 360 in it with an extra intake to put a 4bbl on it and it's only 500 bucks so I figured it would be worth it just for the axles. Thanks for the input guys. It's a 74 if that helps with the transfer case.

Reason: adding
That truck is what is commonly referred to as a "high-boy". If you go to the 73-79 forum here on FTE and look at post #8 under the FAQ's at the top you'll find tons of info. The front axle in it is a D44 which isn't anything too special in terms of axles (people pull the D44's in favor of the 1 ton D60's all the time), but for $500 for that truck you can't go wrong and you'll have a great base to start with.
