I had Nitto Terra Graplers 315-70-16 on my X and went to 315-70-17 Mud Grapplers . Both are good tires but the mud tires are really loud. I hear they are going to have a Desert Grappler Soon, looks like a terra with the claws on the sides. I bought the mud tires more for looks since it is not my daily driver.

I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers A/T 355x65x18 (37x14x18) I love them! They are quite and a smooth ride. They have great traction in the sand and snow. Don't know about mud. I rotate mine every oil change and still look like new at 12,000. They look better that the Toyo open countrys I think. I would recomend them to anyone!
