I'm been looking at the area between the running board and cab floor. Mine has a gap of about 1/4". The edge of the cab is also ugly. Is there anyway of moving the running board higher to meet the cab or maybe some type of strip to cover that uglyness up? Anyone come up with a creative, idea?
That's exactly what I'm talking about. You know, as many trucks I've looked at, I don't recall them having a skirt on there? Unless there is one and they paint it the same color as the truck? I noticed something was there before because it looks like the cab has several rivots along the edge. Anyone got pics of it on their truck?

I recall that fatfenders56 raised his boards to get rid of the gap when he modified his boards so you might view his gallery. I used the rubber skirt and attached it to the metal hangers using black plastic push type fasteners I purchased at an autobody supply store, then I attached the hangers to the cab flange using SS button hd mach. screws. I think on my BW project I will try something like ff56 did to get rid of the gap.
