I've been having bucking problems with my 88 F150 5.0L truck for a while now. I started replacing sensors hoping to fix the problem including the TPS.
When I replaced the TPS I cleaned out the IAC and Throttle body. Reassembeled the whole thing and now my truck idles at about 2k. Any Ideas?
LOL - I told ya to look it up. Its 0.99v.
12 &13 are cannot control rpm during self test
44 is thermactor system (is yours still in?)
At his point you need to look for vacuum leaks. Check the intake and plenum as well as the hoses and canister. How sure are you that you got the TB gasket on properly?
TPS is now sitting around .98 I dont think i'll adjust it anymore without removing the throttle body again... its a pain. I'm not all too sure what the termactor system is.
I could not find Code 44 in my Haynes manual.
