Hi Fellas, Need some guidance for some seat covers for the new rig. I have the tan interior, and from what I hear is a very hard to keep clean. So I need some advice on covers.
Thanks
Rich
Yep...The tan interior gets dirty just by looking at it...
I got a set of tan velour covers from exactseatcovers on eBay. This guy has an eBay store and he does auctions. If you don't see any tan auctions, just e-mail him and ask about availablity. If he has some, you'll end up doing a buy it now on a gray set, then specify tan when making the payment. Like I said, e-mail the guy, he'll let you know what he's got. Do an ebay search for seat covers f150.
The set has covers for all seats, front, center (including top pad) and back (Scab).
Cost 79.00 plus 9.00 shipping.
The cover are an exact fit. The seams in the covers match what's on the seats
These covers are well worth the money. Very high quality. They have a 2 year warranty against tears, seam failure and fade more than 20% of the orginal color.
The color of the covers matches the darker of the 2 tan color of the interior.
I like the way they look. They are also machine washable.
The factory fabric will water stain from the rain! The only way to keep the seats looking good is to cover them.
The carpeting is next. I'm getting some floorliners to keep the carpet looking good. I tend to keep my trucks for a long time and want to keep the interior in good shape.

I just bought covers from Cabela's, made by Hotchie Bottom, that are an exact fit. I have a 40/20/40 and the kit covers the entire front section. It costs a little but well worth the protection. Check out a Cabela's or Hotchie Bottom website.
I bought the FIA "OE" Front Seat Covers
from Cabelas and am very happy with them. They fit perfectly, when people get in the truck they don't even notice that the seats are covered. they are also machine washable which is nice. Check them out on Cabelas website....
Kramge, those covers look nice on Cabela's website. They don't have charcoal listed for my truck, so I tracked down alternate sources. Here's the link to the manufacturer's webpage:

I also bought the FIA seat covers from Cabelas and am very happy with them.Actually it's my second set as I traded in my 04 F150 STX 4.6 reg cab for an 05 XLT Screw 5.4 so I can tow my new home(on wheels) as Katrina took my original home.
One tip about seatcovers. I had a Explorer, Eddie Bauer, with leather seats. Because of the dog, I put cloth seat covers on the seat portion of the rear seat. Went to sell this vehicle several months ago and went to remove the seat covers expecting to find pistine leather below. Well, over the years, any dirt that passed through the cloth seat cover, stopped right at the leather. Wow, did this seat look like crap. Took a lot of scrubbing to get it back. So if you do cover leather for any sort of reason, take off the seat cover once or twice a year and give the leather a little care.
