Dingy/Discolored headlamp lenses

My headlight lenses are not as clear as I'd like them to be (to get the most of my SilverStars)

I've heard about "Diamond Cut Lenses" but have not come across anyone that has them or could vouch for them over OEM lenses.

Any ideas or comments?

the wife has a X, same thing. Havent had a good look see but if I could get them off I could polish the inside clear. Dont know how long this would last but have to be better than they are now.

Headlights

As far as removing the lens, can't be done because they are welded/glued to the lamp body. Besides the problem is on the outside of the lens. I used polishing compound, which is a light abrasive and requires a lot of rubbing and then coated with a car wax. Did make a noticeable improvement.

Micro Mesh

Get your self a Micro mesh polishing system. It is used by the aviation industry to take scratches out of plastic and acrylic winsdcreens.

They jave a kit specificly for repairing acrylic headlights.

www.micro-surface.com

I have been using them for over 20 years!
