no heat
1999 Ranger 2x4, 3.0 litre, x-cab, 75.000 mi.
Last night daughter told me 2002 Taurus lost heat. I'll check fluid and hoses, but where is the thermostat? Haven't even looked yet, don't know if cel is on. I've done lots of work on the Ranger, but never had heat problem.

Which 3.0L engine is it? Ford used two different 3.0L engines in the '02 Taurus, the OHV "Vulcan" and the DOHC "Duratec".
