After reading that, I don't think the change over of forums is the demise of your freindship, but if it is, maybe find another forum setup the way both of you like. I'm not sure why she wont give you her email address, or im Sn

I'm not sure why she wouldn't either, fortunately she still does consider me as her friend and she also told me that we will always remain friends, she's just as bummed about the situation as I am, in ways I think that it's good that she is sensitive about giving out her email address cause more people should be like that, especially when it comes to the young teenage girls who are opened to who they give their email addresses to, fortunately I have never persuaded them to give me my email address, I'm not as opened to giving out my email address either but it depends on how well I know the person.

Dariand1 - these are normal everyday things.

Do you have a truck?

I care about you - I really do. But what is all of this? You seem to be crying out in pain, or from a sence of neglect of you. We can only do so much, we can be a sounding board to a point. But this is a FORD TRUCK fanpage.

I hate like anything to have to say so - but I don't see a connection. I don't know how I can help you. I know where you are coming from - late nights are lonely, and GOOD message forums are hard to find.

But this one is about truck owners. All of us here have them.

Are you even intending to get one some day?

(Christ, how I hate to be the bad guy...)

Then again, if you just plain LIKE ford trucks, that is as good a reason to be here as any.

You have made me wonder why I post here myself, and it worries me. My own trucks have gone nowhere for the last few years.

I chat with her on the American Idol forum, since they shut down the old American Idol forum they made a new one for us which isn't nearly as good as the old one, I have never met her outside cyberspace.

Fortunately me and her are still friends but were not as close like we used to be and it is starting to help me appreciate my other friends alot more, at least that something good came out of a bad situation.

To admit it I don't own a vehicle cause I'm on a limited budget but I do love the pre-1980 Ford pickups w/big tires and 4 wheel drive, I was just upset cause they had to shut down the old American Idol forum and my best friend from that forum doesn't even like the new American Idol forum and she didn't even respond to my messages, fortunately this morning she responded to some of my posts and she did tell me that we will always remain friends.

I am a big fan of the older model cars from the 60's/70's and I have a strong knowledge of cars, plus with me and my best friend not being as close to each other did help me appreciate some of the other friends that I have on the Simpsons forum.

I've seen a forum change styles and everything before, so that it doesn't even seem like the same place. Maybe that was it...

I will make a suggestion here though - if money is tight, a Ranger is probably a better truck for you than a full size four wheel drive. The big offroad trucks use so much gas it isn't even funny! Ten or twelve mile a gallon at more than two dollars a gallon can really make you throttle back...

Fortunately - there are quite a few trucks out there that get more like 28 to a gallon. You'll definitely want an overdrive, it helps a lot.
