IDI means InDirect Injection.
Look at the VIN# 8th digit. "M" is the idi no turbo, "K" is the idi turbo, and "F" is the powerstroke.

IDI is: in direct injection on your vin # position 1,2,3 is manufacturer make and type ; #4 is brake system/gvwr #5,6,7 model or line,series, chasis,cab type; #8 engine type;#9 chgeck digit ; #10 model year #11 assembly plant position #12 constant "A" until sequence # of 99,999 is reached then changes to "B" and so on #13 thru 17 is sequence #
