Smile front end drop

i got my front mlo reversed eye springs from mid fifty this past week.i plan on removing every other leaf and using the poly liner in between, anyone have a idea how much it will lower the front.on the rear i plan on removing every other leaf and poly linen it and turning the front spring mounts upside down and moving them up on the frame, but im keeping the stock rear main leaf spring.i hope to buy digital camera in the next couple weeks so i can start my gallery,if i can learn to post the pictures.

I personaly would just do the spring removal in the back and see how low that gets you in the back, before you move hangers. you can only go so low in the front with straight axle before you hit snubers(I trimed mine a little for clearance) if you do all that in the back im afraid it will be lower than the front, not to mention not enough rearend to frame clearance. (measure twice cut once) good luck

Thumbs up

with a main leaf only you will get 1 3/4" drop with reverse eyes,, and if you remove the right amount ofsprings you can get 3" to 3 1/2" these specs are in the mid fifty catalog, it has a chart with all other measuements, well good luck with your truck Neil
