I have looked through the forums & threads concerning this issue, but have not seen my problems addressed.
I have a '89 Bronco II 2.9L V6 5spd 4x4, it ran fine. We parked it in front of the house & it wont start again. This is what we have tried:jumping, starter fluid, checked several wires & connections. Cranks with plenty of power, kicks like it's trying to start, but just doesn't turn over.
Can someone please help?
Thanks

So, even if you spray the starter fluid in it it won't fire at all? Sounds like it's not getting spark. It would be a good idea to check the codes, that's always the best place to start on an EFI engine but I'd tend to suspect the TFI module on the distributor. It's a PITA to get to being behind the upper manifold, but they're known for failing like that.
