Transfer a 7.3...

How hard would it be to fit a 7.3 into a Ford Bronco?

I am rebuilding a 02 and after this I would think you had better set aside a huge amount of time. First thing to think about is that it weighs a lot more than a gas motor so you would have to change suspension and that is going to effect your ride and after what I have done there are so many computer modules in the truck and 02 sensors in the exaust (you will have to change that also). I think there are 4 descent modules. one under the dash is probaby 6 x 8 inches. and two smaller ones. Plus there is another one behind the driverside fender that is a little bigger. You would have to take the wiring harness for the entiore truck. I went from a 02 body to a 99 and had to change every inch of wiring nothing matched up and we are talking about 3 years difference. Yes they were both f-350 powerstrokes.

I will never say it cant be done cause you could out one in an ASPIRE if you really wanted to. But the price on those motors used is a ton of $$$$. then add your t-case and tranny you could be talking about 10,000 (just a guess)
