Does anyone have any recommendations for a turbo timer that is compatible with the Ford security system? I don't know if there is any conflict between the two. Basically, I want to get out of the truck, shut it off, set the alarm, and let the turbo timer time out and shut off with the alarm set.
There are several alarm/remote start systems that have the turbo cool-down feature. I would suspect it would be easier to replace the factory system with one of them. I am not familiar any module with and turbo saver add-on, but that's not to say that there isn't one.

HKS had a turbo timer and adapter that works with many OEM alarm systems.
I had their timer in my 92 300ZXTT and was very happy with it.
Check with them, and see if they have anything that will not affect the Ford PATS system.
I have the X-Monitor with CES option. CES is for cool engine shutdown. You can set the shutdown temp that you want the pyro to reach before the truck shuts down. The engine will continue to clank along until it cools to your desired temperature or until the timer expires, whichever comes first.
If someone presses on the brake pedel during the cool down cycle then the engine immediately quits.

That won't be a problem. Super Duty's don't have the PATS, or any other security system installed at the factory.
AZwhite350- I'm not positive, but I believe the wiring harness' are the same for all of the Ford systems. You might be able to buy a Ford system with remort start, which I believe has a cool-down function, and switch the brains. That would mean only having to wire in the harness that is specifically for the remote start functions.
