Take the mirror off the door,look at the bottom you will see 2 rivits.Drill them out and replace them with 2 small sheet metal screws or 2 new rivits.Works like a new one.
i found some at pep boys that are identical and have an adjustment screw. i think advance had some too. they are not universal, you have to look them up in the little book to get the exact part number. there are some archived threads on this issue from within the last 2 years that may have the part number.
