B38.9 Flash
I am having the egr replaced under recall and have had a few other issues millage is not what I think it should be approx 16.0 hand calc. freeway, under 13 arround town/highway 50/50. was wondering if anyone knows if this flash is good or not I'd hate to see my mileage drop any further, otherwise the truck seems to run well. plenty of power ect. the truck is an 04 04 6.0 SC SB FX4

There have been good reports on the later flashes, if you are getting mileage like that, go for it.

Lately from what I have read people have been complaining of latest flashes due to poor fuel economy. If the flash is not needed I dont think I would take it.
My 2WD Excursion has the original flash from 09/04; I see average 20-21 (most ever 22.5) on all highway. Mixed driving anywhere from 15-18.

[B]HELP!!!!!
I got the flash supposed to fix the tranny issues and now they are way worse took a trip this weekend to the mnts (had a great time) however on the way had need to lock up the brakes and then tried to power around --- it was like the tranny was in nuet. took about 3-4 seconds for the tranny to re-engage really scary am scheduled to take a test drive with the tech. today
ps this was not a fluke after it happened and I settled down I have been able to recreate this senerio 2 more times
anyone else with this problem or advise
