Gas Mileage

Hi, does anyone know if these things http://www.tornadoair.com/HowItWorks.php actually make a difference to gas mileage? I have a 2000 Lariat, and while I don't think the gas is any worse than most other similar trucks, anything I can do to make it a bit more economical is a big help.

I am used to getting about 40MPG from my car back in the UK, so am wondering if these Tornado things do make any difference. If they don't make any difference then does anyone know what can help? (If anything). Thanks.

I think there have been several threads about the Tornado in the past. And from what I can remember the answer would be no. They don't help.

Pure junk, a friend bought one and had no effect on performance or mileage. It did make his wallet lighter!

When I bought my Ranger there was one in it from the previous owner. It had come dislodged and was blocking about 3/4 of the intake. I saw a great increase in power and mileage when I removed it.
