after i run my fully stock 400m and lift the hood the motor and surrounding parts seem to be very hot, the temp gagae says it is running normal. are the 400's known to do this or are there parts need lookin at?if it is hard to understand what i am trying to ask tell me,its late and teh old brain and workin 100%
Joe, If you will go through the threads you will find hot and 351-351/400M to be near the top. As long as your water isn't boiling out and the temp guage reads OK, don't worry about it. Do you now run headers, they will add heat to the cab and engine bay.
