Okay saw Tony,Angelia and Duane and Ken there scored a set of 390 heads for $50 but couldn't get the 428 crank for 350 and Del is the Proud owner of a 78 Bronco out of Topeka for a $150 but some assembling required like a new engine. will have picture tomorrow when we go get it.
I was rather disapointed this year. I was looking for a set of wheels and a winch. Clint scored the wheels for me, and that's a good thing cuz I didn't find anything else there. Found 2 winches but one was the same as the one harbor frieght sells and they wanted $400 for it!!!! The other was an "older than dirt" warn and they wanted $450 for it with no line or cable!! So all I walked away with were the wheels, a few sticks of heat shrink, and a pocket screwdriver.
I did worse than you at the swap meet Duane, The only thing I got was an over priced hot dog, soda and heart burn. I did do a little better later in the day as we drove to Topeka and I ended up buying a 78 bronco. Got it real cheap, but some assembly will be required. Thomas rode down with me along with a couple of other friends from Lincoln, NE.
I didn't buy any parts, but I did pick up a Ford Racing jacket that shows on Ford's website for $100+ for $35. I also found a metal sign with the Ford V8 logo that I want once I get a billet grill.

You gonna donate that jacket to someone like say the super hard working chapter treasurer? I believe that you are about my size.
One pair of mustang 5.0 alum valvecovers (stock) $20. Unknown ford tranny cooler NIB $5.00. 3/8 breaker bar (china junk) $5.00. NIB MSD ford TFI coil $40.00. holman moody decal 5.00, SVO car emblem $8.00. lotsa exercise and tired feet, chatting with people I`ve known for years and just generally loving that swapmeet, priceless!
Yup we went but bout every time now I leave a little dissapointed. My burrito was good but they allways goof up my wifes order (allways fajitas) and the service was really slow. I dunno but El cazador here in junction and manhattan might be gaining points.
You go to El Cazadors. We go to the one in Manhattan fairly often, but have a somewhat off color name for it that sounds kinda like el cazadors. It has something to do with something in your drawers. Maybe we'll have to meet you there some evening.
