93 explorer trans leak
hello all. ive got a 93 explorer 4x4 a4ld and it has a intermittant front tranny seal leak. i put in some of that stop leak for a temp fix. but was wondering if theres more to these trannys than just putting in a new seal? is there something inside worn thats building too much pressure? has anyone had experiance with these?

FYI don’t put the stop leak in more than once, too many times and the internal seals can turn to Jell-O.
If it’s intermittent it is probably just the seal.
Do be sure that it’s not overfull, that is a bad thing.
There is a front pump bushing that the converter rides on, if it is worn it could help it leak.
