does leaky radiator cause other problems?
could a leaky radiator cause my heater core to go bad?

No, I wouldn't expect anything from that unless whatever caused the rad to leak could also affect the heater core.

Well kinda in that if it is leaking from corrosion and age, the heater core may not be far behind.

Whatever caused (maybe bad ground or bad antifreeze) the radiator to go bad can cause the heater core to go bad. Though what usually kills the heater core is rust and scale getting lodged in it, depending on design. In the worse cases, what happens is a sludge of sorts builds up inside the tubes and eventually clogs it.

is there a way you can properly ground the radiator to stop electrolysis?
