That is the IP fuel return check valve, the advance solenoid pushes it open during cold starts. Most any Stanadyne shop or IP rebuilder/diesel shop will have one get a new oring too. The ford oring # is ,...Injection pump outlet check valve o-ring E8TZ-9E583-A see if the parts guy can find it and he may find the check valve too.
Ok, I got the part I was looking for! It came off an 1988 ford 7.3. I put it on My NEW I.P.
I made sur my I.P. was lined up w/ the gear. And I made sure the I.P. was lined up to the housing. I made sure that fuel came out of the high pressure lines BEFORE connecting them to each injector. My I.P. IS getting power. BUT IT STILL DOES NOT START!!!!
What am I missing???
I need this truck running like ASAP my tranny in my car is slipping really bad! I have no other means of transportation.
How fast is it cranking over......if you can count the RPMs it's to slow. Charge the batteries up to peak charge. Is it a standard pull start it.........
Put some truck info in a signature up on the Quick links........
