Help with Windstar

I know that this is a truck website but I figured one of you guys could answer my question. I have a 1995 ford windstar & want to replace current 3.0 engine and transmission. Could I replace with a 3.8 engine and transmission? If so, would any other parts on the vehicle have to be changed in order to work with the new engine? All answers welcome. Thanks!

Not worth it. You would have to replace the engine, tranny, cooling system, ALL electronics, motor mounts and other misc. parts. Just go and buy a freestar or E-series.
