This is the first time that i have posted on here so i guess i'll say hey to everybody that cares. the question that i have is what is the difference between a 351m and a 351 modified? Or is there a difference?
This may be a stupid question but, hey. A little background on myself..... I was raised around chevy trucks all my life. It was a sin to ride in a ford. three months ago i traded my 79 silverado for my 77 f-150 custom shortbox that i love. i'll never drive another old chevy again. my ford will die before i get rid of it.
351m == 351 modified. Though you might get into "what does the m really stand for" debate, a 351 'modified' is nothing else but a 351m. Check out the "335 Series- 5.8/351M, 6.6/400, 351 Cleveland" section for more info.
This topic has been discussed to death in the 3335 engien series and the 73-79 Truck forum.
These are the forums that would normally receive this question.
May I suggest reading all 33 posts on this thread.
