'sounds like a bunch (12 or so) were lost in West Va. 'thought they were gonna make it for a while, watchin' the news. God rest their souls. Hug and kiss your loved ones and savor the days you have with them.

there's been a few threads on this already, they announced after the orange bowl last night that they found 12 alive. turns out this morning that was wrong. Not cool man. Those poor families
I read in the paper while they were still missing that there's an emergency phone system and 55gal drums with supplies down there. how does that work, are they just every so often throughout the mine? and what's in the drums? food, CO2 absorbant/oxygen, first aid supplies?
